10. Oblivion
Opinions on Tom Cruise are diverse, box office receipts are unanimous. Now half a century old, Tom Cruise's star power remains as strong as ever. The couch jumping,
forever running, possibly super-powered scientologist is coming off the fantastic Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and above average Jack Reacher. Oblivion is his latest staring role. Earth has been decimated by an alien attack and abandoned. The sci-fi thriller has Cruise playing a veteran soldier that returns to Earth as "the mop-up crew" after a court martial. A strong star-studded cast includes Cruise, Morgan Freeman (Shawshank Redemption, Dark Knight Trilogy), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones). Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy), the film at least will have impressive visuals.
