10 Highly Questionable Actions Committed By Jack Sparrow

10. He Promises To Marry Two Women (At The Same Time)

James Ward Byrkit directed a short film prequel to The Curse of the Black Pearl titled Tales of the Code: Wedlocked. Though we don't actually see these events in the feature length films, we do see the hilarious aftermath, and it paints quite the picture about Jack Sparrow. In The Curse of the Black Pearl, Jack ventures with Will to Tortuga in order to rally up a crew and attempt to find the Black Pearl. Once they arrive, they encounter two prostitutes, Giselle and Scarlett, who immediately slap Jack on sight. We're not told exactly why they do it, but Jack tells Will he deserved it. As it turns out, he most definitely did. In Wedlocked, both Giselle and Scarlett are getting ready on opposite sides of a mirror, and begin talking to each other about their fiance. Before long the two realize that they're engaged to the same man: Jack Sparrow. By this time Jack's already gone, on his way to Port Royal. At the end of the short, Giselle and Scarlett vow that: "Next time I see him, I'll be re-acquainting Jack Sparrow with the palm of my hand."
