10 Hilarious Easter Eggs Hidden In Movie Credits

1. Nobby Buns - Hot Shots!

And finally, the greatest joke in any movie€™s credits sequence has to be Hot Shots!€™ effort. If you had the patience to watch through the credits on this 1991 Top Gun spoof, you will have found the most bizarre Easter Egg of all time (one that actually includes eggs, at that). Yep, after Charlie Sheen and the rest of the Hot Shots! cast have wrapped up their work, you€™ll find €“ among other jokey inserts €“ a legitimate recipe for Nobby Buns hidden in the credits. You€™ll need flour, sugar, cinnamon, butter and three eggs to make your own Nobby Buns, as the film tells us. As funny as it is genuinely usable, this Easter Egg is bafflingly brilliant. No one€™s ever explained why it€™s there, but I'm very glad that it is - it gets a laugh every time. Tom Cruise and Tony Scott never gave us any baking tips, did they? If that€™s your chosen way of judging films, then, Hot Shots! is arguably better than Top Gun itself. Err, okay€ I€™ll show myself out. What€™s your favourite jokey Easter Egg from a movie credits sequence? Let us know in the comments.
