10 Hilarious Hidden Details In Comedy Movies

6. Keeping It PG - Galaxy Quest

1999's Galaxy Quest is equipped with one of the most star-studded sci-fi casts ever assembled on screen. Yet, it also boasts some noticeably botched re-dubbing work.

During the scene where Brandon (Justin Long) is guiding Jason Nesmith (Tim Allen) and Gwen DeMarco (Sigourney Weaver) around the NSEA Protector space ship, the two actors trying their best to live up to their on-screen characters' reputations are met with some brutal 'chompers'.

Clearly, Weaver can be seen reacting to the sight of the huge pieces of metal slamming together in front of them by saying 'Well, f*ck that!' This was fine back when the film was originally planned as a rated 'R' feature. However, DreamWorks soon decided that they wanted to compete with the release of Stuart Little, so Galaxy Quest had to be cut in order to fit the PG bill.

Weaver's line was eventually replaced by her exclaiming 'Well, screw that!' instead.

Unfortunately, with the actor being front and centre during the shot, it's hilariously obvious what she initially blurted out on set and Weaver has since stated that she purposefully made the re-dubbing of the line stand out as a protest against it being cut.
