9. Catwoman (2004)
Nowadays a laughably bad DC movie is a far more believable concept than it was in that sweet Dark Knight period between 2008 and 2012. However, a mere four years before The Dark Knight changed what comic book cinema could be forever, Halle Berry used the silver screen as a litter box with her rendition of Catwoman.
Everything about this film is just abysmal. The acting, the numerous cat puns, the weird BDSM-styled outfit, and that’s before you even get to the story. Berry plays Patience (not Selina Kyle) who has unknowingly died and has received catlike powers from an Egyptian feline as a result. If you don’t remember reading about this in an issue of Batman, you’re not alone.
Once dawned with her powers, Catwoman goes on to take down The Joker and a roster of enemies who have taken over Arkham Asy- No, not really- She takes down a company selling evil beauty products. 2004 was a different time.
The DCEU hasn’t quite stooped to Catwoman levels of terrible just yet, but let its 3.3/10 IMDB rating be a warning of just how far a superhero film can fall. At least we can still laugh at this one… for now.
