10 Hilariously Awful DVD Covers

1. Assassin In Love

I haven't seen 2007's Assassin In Love, but going by this cover alone, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that it's something Homeland star Damian Lewis would prefer we forgot. Sucks for him, then, that the studio had such a hilariously awful DVD cover drawn up, in which just about everything appears to be Photoshopped. The only thing this cover gets right are the names at the top; everything else is wrong, wrong, wrong. Lewis and Kate Ashfield's faces have clearly been pasted onto the bodies of stand-ins, while the cake, the dynamite, the whisk, the gun, and pretty much every significant object has clearly been (badly) Photoshopped in after the fact. Even Ashfield's legs don't look right, though this might be because the background is clearly also a composite. Oh, and to top things off, the logo looks like something someone made in Clip Art in 1997. Dreadful, though bad enough to actually entice me to want to know more about the film... Which DVD covers do you have the most? Let us know in the comments below.
