4. Fake Shaving Kit (Transformers)
Perhaps this one is just funny to me because I don't at all understand the idea of a fake shaving kit for children. Sure, a lot of kids would pretend to shave alongside their dads now and then, but not me, and if one of my parents bought me this, I would have been outraged. Why on Earth would I want a toy shaving kit in the Transformers brand when I can, you know, have a toy Transformer instead? Alright, fine, maybe it promotes good facial hygiene, but I really have to question the necessity for something like this. How many Transformers fans wish they could have Optimus Prime on the side of a shaving gel can, when they won't even have facial hair for another 5-10 years? It's absolutely ridiculous, and I have no idea what anyone involved - the manufacturer, Hasbro, the parents who would buy it or the kids who would use it - is thinking, frankly.
