We are treated to a sequence of flashbacks, featuring self-defence videos and classic martial arts movies which young Eddie watched as a child, not knowing then that as he stuffed his face with popcorn, all this would prove useful someday. Unable to remember how he got to where he is, Eddie finds himself confronted by a group. His inner monologue barely has time to finish €œhow did I get here?€ when he is put on the defensive. Our drugged-up hero is able to channel Bruce Lee among many others and protect himself, while his surprised attackers €“ unwitting as to what they have gotten themselves into €“ are downed with minimal effort expended.
