10 Hilariously Recut Trailers That Completely Change The Movie

1. The Grand Overlook Hotel - Wes Anderson's The Shining

Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick are both popular targets for trailer recuts, but perhaps the best of them all merges Kubrick's The Shining with the idiosyncratic visual style of offbeat director Wes Anderson. Different from the other recuts shown here in that it features footage from both The Shining and Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, it utilises panning and tracking shots from both films to seamlessly blend one scene to the next. A great example comes when Danny from The Shining enters Room 237 only to find the Grand Budapest's concierge being sexually pleasured, before covering his innocent eyes. The relentless cross-cutting between the two sourced movies is superbly done and must have been painstaking to put together, but, as you can see for yourself, the hilarious results are well worth the effort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nsi06PG7w_0 Have you come across any other funny recut trailers?
