10 Hilariously Unthreatening Movie Villains

Dudley Dursley - is that you? Playing the villainous entrepreneur Merrick in Netflix's comic book adaptation, The Old Guard, Harry Melling (yes, Dudley Dursley!) is far from the most threatening presence.

Regardless, the one-time Dursley boy is having great fun chewing the scenery here, intent on capturing the immortal Andy (Charlize Theron) and her squad to use and abuse for his own malicious purposes. Honestly, we don't fancy his chances. You don't mess with Furiosa.

We may never take Merrick seriously as a threat, but he's a lot of fun. Indeed, the man's face is so eminently punchable that audiences will spend the whole film on tenterhooks waiting for the little creep to get his comeuppance. Harry Potter fans have been waiting since 2001 to see someone throw the little bastard out of a window. Thankfully, when it does come, in The Old Guard's final act, it is entirely worth the wait.
