If you grew up during the '90s you probably best remember Brandy from her UPN sitcom Moesha or the terrible horror sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Oh yeah, she had a pretty major music career as well, selling millions of records over the course of a decade. Since her 1994 debut album, Norwood has won over 100 awards as a recording artist. On December 30, 2006, while driving home Norwood was involved in a fatal automobile accident in LA. The accident claimed the life of 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj, the driver of the car that collided with Norwood's Range Rover. She died from her injuries the following day. No charges were brought against the singer due to insufficient evidence of any wrong-doing. Nevertheless, there have been numerous lawsuits filed against Norwood regarding the incident, all of which were in due course settled out of court.
