4. Rebecca Gayheart

Rebecca Gayheart raised to fame during the late '90s starring in a string of horror flicks, playing a sorority sister in Scream 2, playing the deranged killer in Urban Legend (1998) and the regrettably From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2000). She also starred alongside Rose McGowan, Julie Benz, and Judy Greer in the cult-classic 1999 film Jawbreaker. On June 13, 2001, Gayheart was driving a car which struck a nine-year-old as he walked across a street in Los Angeles. He died the next day from his wounds. Late 2001, Gayheart pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter. She was sentenced to three years of probation, a one-year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine and 750 hours of community service. Her career went in free fall following the trial and she has yet to hit the high point she probably should have, restricted mostly to working in TV.
