6. Steven Brill
Filmography: Heavyweights, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Without A Paddle, Drillbit Taylor, Movie 43 Steven Brill has a good name, but I'm not letting him off by a long shot. This is the man who not only directed a bunch of movies that you're still trying to atone for watching, but he wrote a bunch of really awful ones, too. I'm not dealing with those right now (let's be fair), but they were all
The Mighty Ducks movies, which you probably like, don't you? Well, that backfired. Let's start again: Steven Brill is an awful director and he should be banned. Brill's career has mostly suffered because he's opted to direct a couple of Adam Sandler movies, and as we know there are no good ones of that kind. So blame Brill for
Little Nicky and
Mr. Deeds, and you can blame him for
Without A Paddle,
Drillbit Taylor and (would you believe it?) one part of
Movie 43, too. I don't think I need to research which part he directed to know that it wasn't good. At least he was in good company (and by that, I of course mean "other bad directors").
