10 Horribly Incompetent Movie Directors Who Keep Getting Work

7. Rob Cohen

Rob CohenFilmography: Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Dragonheart, Daylight, The Skulls, The Fast and the Furious, xXx, Stealth, The Mummy: Tomb of the Emperor Dragon, Alex Cross What did we ever do to deserve this guy? C'mon, Rob Cohen: how does it keep going so wrong, time and time again? Shame is, he's actually a nice guy in real life. You'll know Rob, of course, from all those movies that you went to see and wished you hadn't. You could've stayed indoors instead. Stuck a knife in your ear or something. Anyway, Mr. Cohen excels at making the kind of blockbusters that your out-of-touch uncle gets you on DVD for Christmas: "Oh, uh, Stealth. I've been meaning to see this, yeah. Thanks, I guess." What would your uncle do without Rob Cohen, then? Or your little brother, perhaps, given that he's also the man behind the original Fast and Furious movie. It's probably his best movie, I guess. I'm not even sure that Rob could use that notion to his advantage. Given a choice between total silence and saying "I directed the first Fast and Furious movie," I think it's better to stay silent. For some reason, he has directed three movies with the word "dragon" in their titles. He also has a head like a potato. I like that, though. Upcoming Movies: 1950, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
