The Sixth Sense is one of Bruce Willis' most beloved films and launched M. Night Shyamalan's career into the stratosphere. The movie features numerous scares and its twist is considered one of the best of all time, even today. But what some of you may not know is that Willis was only forced to take this role as part of a deal with the Walt Disney Company.

You see, the Hollywood icon was slated to make Broadway Brawler but was allegedly dissatisfied with the crew and even brought in a new filmmaker to replace director Lee Grant. This ultimately ended with the production folding due to half of its large budget being spent.

Willis' actions angered the House of Mouse and he almost faced a $17.5 million lawsuit. To make up for the lost money, the actor was forced to take a three-picture deal with Disney as well as a reduced salary.

The first was 1998's Armageddon, then The Sixth Sense in 1999, and finally The Kid in 2000. Ironically, this means that Willis' bad behavior was rewarded by giving him three hit movies.
