When it comes to horror movie villains, none are as terrifyingly sadistic as killer clowns. And out of this unjolly bunch of murders, they don't come any more horrific than Art the Clown from the Terrifier series.

Before this psychotic clown got his own feature spotlight, though, he appeared in a selection of short films from creator and special effects artist Damien Leone. These shorts were subsequently compiled in anthology flick All Hallows' Eve, and it's in this gore-fest where viewers see the clown at his most sadistic.

In the third and final segment (the short film Terrifier), viewers follow an unnamed woman (Marie Maser) as she arrives at a petrol station on Halloween to witness the attendant kicking out Art for some deplorable actions. But when the woman witnesses Art’s brutal killing of the attendant, she becomes relentlessly pursued by the unstoppable killer.

However, when Art eventually does catch his prey, the woman’s fate is far worse than death. She awakes on an operating table with her arms and legs amputated and body mutilated. There’s no telling what Art has planned for her next, though it’s a certainty that she’d wish that she were killed instead to save her whatever agony awaits.
