2. Leprechaun

Begun as a children€™s movie by writer/director Mark Jones, a former story editor for The Scooby And Scrappy Doo Puppy Hour, Leprechaun (1993) inexplicably morphed into a comedy-horror whose potty mouthed title character sliced and diced those unwise enough to covet his gold. There are many reasons to hate this film: it gave a pre-Friends Jennifer Aniston her first lead role, it made more money than Reservoir Dogs and it launched a franchise that included such sparkling additions to popular culture as Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), Leprechaun In The Hood (2000) and the immortal classic Leprechaun: Back 2 Da Hood (2003). It€™s apt that Jones worked on Scooby Doo because, just like that show, Leprechaun tells the same story over and over again in a different locale. From Las Vegas to outer space to da hood, this is one leprechaun who gets around. Worst Offender: Leprechaun In The Hood, because no movie should end with a leprechaun rapping. Ever.
