10 Horror Film Remakes You Didn't Know Were In The Works

One of the higher profile remakes on this list, IT is set to remake the lengthy television miniseries of the same name and re-adapt Stephen King's mammoth novel into a pair of presumably mammoth horror films. True Detective maestro Cary Fukunaga maestro was tapped to direct, but has since dropped out of the project, produced by New Line. Still, Will Poulter (those eyebrows) is still set to star as monstrous clown Pennywise, and it shouldn't be long before Fukunaga's replacement is found, provided New Line still wish to press ahead without him. Unlike many on this list, IT is prime for the remake treatment, the original miniseries not being even nearly as good as many remember it. Tim Curry still owns the screen though - that Poulter kid has some mighty big shoes to fill...
