10 Horror Films You Probably Haven't Seen But Should
3. Haunter
Haunter is a 2013 Canadian horror that stars Abigail Breslin, Peter Outerbridge and Michelle Nolden. It was written by Brian King and directed by Vincenzo Natali, the name behind movies Splice and Cube. Running in at 97 minutes, this very creepy film definitely deserves a spot on this list.
The story follows central character Lisa Johnson as she discovers the reason she and her family are trapped in a loop of experiencing the same thing every single day. Haunter is almost like Groundhog Day for horror fanatics, in that it uses the theme of being trapped in a never ending loop where nothing ever seems to change. Throughout the film, character Lisa soon discovers the reason her family are trapped in the same, never ending daily existence is because they are dead. But how and why did this happen?
Haunter is exceptional. Beautifully written, with creepy scenes in droves, the production is certain to please fans of creepy, unsettling stories with a twist. Definitely one to watch out for.
