10 Horror Films You Probably Haven't Seen But Should
2. Haunting Of Number #24
The Haunting of Number #24 is also known as Lie Still and was released in 2005. It stars Tim Barlow, Robert Blythe and Susan Engel, and was written and directed by Sean Hogan. It runs in at 80 minutes and, although a low budget horror, this film certainly packs a punch and has earned a worthy place on this list.
The story follows character John Hare, who is left emotionally reeling after experiencing a breakup with his girlfriend Veronica. Feeling hopeless and, on top of that, going through a period of unemployment, John decides to rent a room in an old boarding house owned by a man named Martin. During his stay at the boarding house, John begins to experience frightening and inexplicable phenomena leading him to think that the house may be under a paranormal force of some kind.
The movie is creepy and full of atmosphere - a ghost story but with lots of twists of its own. The Haunting of Number#24 (or Lie Still) is definitely worth looking up if you love a good ghost story.
