6. Siobhán - Sea Fever
Sea Fever is the Lovecraftian, tentacle drenched ocean horror movie that seas a crew trapped aboard a ship that becomes infested with an unknown species of parasitic larvae, one that explodes eyes and drives people into madness indiscriminately in its quest to procreate.
Unlucky Siobhán is on board to study the hauls of the boat she's taken voyage on as a part of her research - and it's this scientific background that lends itself to her favour. Consistently level-headed and worried about the greater good of humanity in the face of an unknown parasite, she's solitary and no-nonsense by nature, affording her to last out until the end of the movie alongside crew member Omid.
Only, Omid manages to fall overboard last minute, and Siobhán's new appreciation for friendship means she's gotta go on ahead and rescue him from the clutches of the giant, betentactled squid beast recklessly impregnating everyone. Of course, it earns her a self-sacrificial death, swapping places with Omid who could have so easily been left to his unfortunate fate - and Siobhán's Final Girl card is revoked at the very last moment.
