10 Horror Movie Characters Who Didn't Really Have To Die

7. Moochie Welch - Christine

Saw 3D Joyce
Columbia Pictures

If you're being picked on, the best thing to do is stand up to your tormentors. But things play out a little differently in Christine. Growing tired of being harassed on a daily basis, Arnie Cunningham tracks down his bullies with his sentient Plymouth Fury and runs them down. (It's an unconventional means to exact revenge but it's effective.)

When fellow delinquent, Moochie Welch trashes Arnie's car (and defecates on the dashboard in a deleted scene), the demon-on-wheels tracks him down, cornering him in an alley.

Because the lane is so narrow, it looks physically impossible for Christine to drive through it. Nevertheless, the malevolent vehicle forces its way in, crushing Moochie to death. According to Detective Junkins, Christine's smushed Moochie with such force, it cut his body in half.

Moochie's death may have been pretty horrific, but it was completely avoidable. When Christine rammed itself into the alleyway, Moochie could've hopped onto the bonnet and jumped to the other side. By the time Christine freed herself, Moochie would've been long gone.

But instead of using his brain, Moochie stood motionless, taking no steps to avoid his grisly fate.
