10 Horror Movie Deaths That Could Have Been Avoided

7. Aaron - Creep

Creep 2014
Blumhouse Productions

This fantastic found footage flick, starring only Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass, aims to show the dangers around websites such as Craigslist and the strange adverts that can be found on them.

We follow Aaron, a videographer, who finds an advert online for a day-only job that entails filming almost everything of a day-in-the-life of a man called Joseph. As the day progresses, Aaron is hit with the realisation that Joseph is truly a creep defined.

We never truly know when the extent of Joseph’s oddness will cease, as each portion of the movie appears to ramp up the strangeness tenfold. The climax of this movie, though, comes in the form of us screaming “DON'T DO IT!” at the screen in the final leg of the story.

Despite being faced with undoubtedly the weirdest individual he’s ever met, Aaron still decides to give Joseph the benefit of the doubt over his stalker antics and agrees to meet him in a public place in the hope this will ensure his safety.

Before the credits roll, an axe is sent directly into Aaron’s head by Joseph as we watch helplessly from Aaron’s car. This final scene is so raw that it’s almost laughable, as all you can do is sit there and wish Aaron had done what any normal person would’ve done, and look behind him.
