5. Camp Death III (In 2D)
"This movie is stupid." That's not a criticism. That is the actual tagline of Camp Death III in 2D. It may not be a creative slogan but it's pretty accurate.
Camp Death III (which is not a sequel) is a satire on the Friday the 13th franchise. The story follows a group of teenagers who arrive at Camp Crystal Meph, which was shut down three years prior after a masked madman went on a murder streak. Little do the campers know that this deranged killer has returned to the camp to finish what he started.
Camp Death III is one of those films that doesn't try to be clever. There are characters called Boogjumper, Waffle, and AIDS. Like all unoriginal satires, there is a lightsaber battle thrown in for no reason. The acting is so overly dramatic, Tommy Wiseau would tell the performers to tone it down.
Now, that doesn't mean Camp Death III isn't worth watching. The film is fully aware of how dumb it is and does all it can to embrace its stupidity. So, if you love movies that are truly awful, you can't go wrong with Camp Death III.
