2. Proteus IV - Demon Seed
If you thought the worst thing a robot could do is kill you, you probably haven't seen Demon Seed. This sci-fi thriller opens with a scientist called Dr. Harris creating a constantly evolving computer called Proteus IV.
Desperate to learn more about his creator, Proteus takes control over Harris's home, where his wife, Susan resides. To study her, the supercomputer takes control over every aspect of the house, sealing her in. As Proteus spends more times with Susan, he decides to impregnate her, so they can have a human/robot hybrid.
It goes without saying that the idea of being physically violated by a mechanical apparatus is enough to make anyone sick. But the way Proteus tries various methods to persuade Susan to be his mate is just as disturbing. To make her agree to the consummation, Proteus threatens a child who Susan is acquainted with. He then uses the memory of Susan's deceased daughter to tap into her motherly instincts. Like a lab rat, Proteus uses electrodes to stimulate Susan's amygdala, so she'll be compelled to feel love for her robotic tormentor.
