10 Horror Movie Scenes Shot In A Single Take

6. The 37-Minuter - One Cut Of The Dead

From now on, this list will be pretty much exclusively about movies that were basically all filmed in one long take.

First up is One Cut of the Dead, a Japanese zombie comedy from 2017. Its premise is that a film director has been set the task of creating a low budget TV zombie movie in just one take. Frustrated with the incompetence of his actors, he summons real zombies using dark magic, which goes about as well as you'd expect.

The film is split up into numerous sections, some fictional, some not. For the action zombie movie portion of this, uh, zombie movie, director Shin'ichirō Ueda actually filmed everything in one take, with the final effort clocking in at 37 minutes long.

That's enough stress to turn anyone into a walking corpse.

This section of the film was shot six times in total, meaning that the cast and crew involved in One Cut of the Dead spent over three hours in total trying not to make any mistakes.
