10 Horror Movie Sequels You Probably Didn't Know Existed
1. Return To Sleepaway Camp
Back in 1983, in an age where slashers were king, came a little horror that took place at a summer camp that was not called Friday the 13th. That film was called Sleepaway Camp, and boy is it a diamond in the rough.
It's got a mysterious killer, a horrific scene with a curling iron going somewhere it really doesn't belong, and an ending guaranteed to leave the speechless. It's a true horror classic.
Like all 1980s slashers, two direct to video sequels followed called Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers and Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland. Fun fact about these 2 films, a one Pamela Springsteen starred as the killer in both films, the younger sister of the legendary Bruce Springsteen.
But alas, they're not the sequels you probably didn't know about. The one you probably didn't know about was 2008s Return to Sleepaway Camp, which had Felissa Rose reprise her role as Angela Baker from the original film. It apparently cost $4 million to make, and currently has a 4.2 rating on IMDB, which probably explains a lot.
