10 Horror Movie Sequels You Probably Didn't Know Existed
2. Hellraiser: Judgement
It might feel like it's been two decades since we last had a Hellraiser film, but surprisingly that just isn't the case. Adapted from Clive Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart, Hellraiser became a wonderfully weird addition to the horror genre in 1987.
It wasn't a slasher, it wasn't a haunted house film, it was just... Hellraiser. A horror about pain, pleasure, and a box you should absolutely not play with, unless you want your face ripped open by hooks.
Hardcore horror fans will likely be aware that the Hellraiser franchise was actually 8 films long by the time 2005 came to a close, but I'm not sure many people realised it was now actually a franchise consisting of ten films. That's right, there have been ten Hellraiser films.
The latest being Hellraiser: Judgement released in 2018, which went straight to streaming, and is the second film not to have Doug Bradley playing the iconic Pinhead in the entire franchise. Sad times.
