10 Horror Movie Sequels You Probably Didn't Know Existed

9. American Psycho 2: All American Girl

Where there's a will, there's a way, is a phrase that is probably the best way to describe the production of American Psycho 2. Originally the film's script was called The Girl Who Wouldn't Die, and had absolutely nothing to do with the superb American Psycho we all know and love.

However, as we all know by now, the horror genre is a creative one. The film's creators managed to shoehorn in a Patrick Bateman subplot into the story, thus allowing them to give the film's title a more recognisable name.

What's odd about all of this though is that even though American Psycho was a moderate success ($34 million on a $7 million budget), it was hardly the home run that warranted a ham-fisted sequel like this.

The film follows an aspiring criminology student who picks her fellow students one by one, as they all pose a threat to her securing a job with the FBI. Unsurprisingly, star Mila Kunis has distanced herself from the film, and American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis denounced its existence.
