10 Horror Movie Twists That Pissed Everyone Off
6. The Professor's Motive - Urban Legends: Final Cut
Like some of the other movies featured on this list, Urban Legends: Final Cut is a relatively steady, decent film for the majority of its run time. Sure, it's no all-time classic, but the sequel serves as a fun popcorn slasher for horror hounds.
With returning campus security guard Reese (Loretta Devine) filling Jennifer Morrison's film student Amy with tales of the urban legend-driven killing spree she encountered in her old job, Amy decides to use these murders as the inspiration for her thesis movie.
Of course, the college kids of the day soon find themselves in the crosshairs of a killer, much like was the case in the first Urban Legend film. The only difference here, is that said killer sports a fencing mask rather than an oversized parka.
With Amy and her classmates competing to win the coveted Hitchcock Award for their feature film, tensions are high as the dead bodies pile up and the list of suspects narrows down. In particular, those who worked on The Gods of Men - a movie from Amy's now-dead rival Travis - are stalked and slain by the masked killer.
The awful twist here, is that Hart Bochner's Professor Solomon is the creep offing people, for he wanted to take credit for The Gods of Men, take home the Hitchcock Award, and take home the cheque that accompanies this gong.
