10 Horror Movie Victims Who Got The Best Revenge

There is a lot of old horror films that you can tell were terrifying back in their day, but are pretty tame by today's standards.

But I Spit On Your Grave doesn't fit into that category. After nearly half a century, the film's 24-minute gang rape sequence is still one of the most haunting scenes in cinema. What makes it more horrifying is the fact that our heroine, Jennifer, seemingly get away from her captors on two separate occasions. But both times, the rapists catch up with Jennifer, and continue to violate her.

After she recuperates, the first thing Jennifer does is march to a church and pray to God for forgiveness for the sins she's about to commit. In that moment, the viewers knows she's going to unleash Punisher-level revenge on the men who desecrated her.

She lures the first rapist, Matthew, into the forest and hangs him from a tree. Although Jennifer has the opportunity to shoot Johnny at point-blank range, she disembowels him to drag his suffering out as long as possible.

When the last two rapists, Andy and Stanley, try to trap her in a lake, Jennifer uses her boat to prevent them from going ashore. She then hurls an axe in Andy's spine, killing him instantly.

But since Stanley was the gang's ringleader, he gets the worst death. After he jumps on the back of Jennifer's boat, begging for forgiveness, she starts up the motor, shredding Stanley's genitalia to pieces.
