10 Horror Movie Villains So Dumb They Deserved To Fail

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil admittedly isn't a movie you're supposed to take particularly seriously, given that the overwhelming bulk of the grisly body count is caused by people accidentally getting themselves killed while pursuing misunderstandings.

There is one maniac among the victims' midst, though, student Chad (Jesse Moss), who snaps and ultimately plans to kill his friend Allison (Katrina Bowden).

However, Chad is foiled pretty damn effortlessly when Dale (Tyler Labine) throws a box of chamomile tea at him, triggering an allergic reaction and asthma attack, causing him to fall out of a window and be critically injured.

Though Chad survives the events of the film, his rampage is foiled by... an allergy. This isn't to say that you'd expect to find chamomile tea sitting around at a sawmill where the movie's climax takes place, but all the same, Dale makes it clear that Chad will be fine once he uses an inhaler.

And so, if you're a murderer with an allergy, maybe keep an inhaler on you at all times so nobody can wreck you this damn easily?
