2. Paul Serone - Anaconda
Oh, Anaconda. It's eventually revealed that the film's hapless human characters have more than mere giant snakes to worry about - there's also a**hole snake hunter Paul Serone (a gloriously mug-happy Jon Voight).
It becomes increasingly clear that Serone is committed to capturing the anaconda no matter the human cost, and near the end of the film he even attempts to lure the biggest anaconda of them all by tying Terri (Jennifer Lopez) and Danny (Ice Cube) up and dousing them in blood.
Yet the plan backfires spectacularly, as when Serone attempts to trap the anaconda, it turns its attention towards him instead, coiling around him and swallowing him whole.
Gee, who could've ever foreseen that trying to tame a 40-foot snake could've had dire consequences? There's tempting fate and then there's... whatever the fresh hell this nonsense is.
It sure is a fun, gnarly death scene, though, especially when the anaconda pukes up Serone's melty, half-digested corpse.
