10 Horror Movie Villains Who Deserved The Win

5. Bruce - Jaws

The crew of Jaws originally wanted to use a real shark for the production of the film, but quickly realised this was the worst idea anyone had ever had.

In the end, they ended up building a full-sized pneumatic replica that was affectionately nicknamed "Bruce". Actually, considering the shark was named after Steven Spielberg's lawyer, maybe it wasn't so affectionate after all.

Bruce the shark was responsible for most of the terror in the 1975 blockbuster, picking off any swimmers who dared get too close. But what did people expect? He's a shark! Eating things is kind of what he does.

If the Mayor of Amity Beach had just listened to the advice he was given and closed the seafront, then Bruce would have moved on somewhere else as his food supply dried up.

But Mayor Idiot Head was too concerned with preserving his precious economy over the lives of his citizens, which basically sent out an invite to Bruce for an all-you-can-eat human buffet.

Animals can't control their nature and it is wrong to assume otherwise. Bruce was just fulfilling his role in the food chain, and he didn't deserve to get blown up for that.
