10 Horror Movie Villains Who Got The Best Revenge

9. Jobe - The Lawnmower Man

Halloween Ronnie Michael Myers
New Line Cinema

In this "Stephen King adaptation", Dr. Lawrence Angelo recruits mentally challenged gardener Jobe Smith to serve as a test subject for his company's VR tech. Because Jobe has been harassed for years due to his mental disability, he's reassured when he learns the experiment will make him smarter.

But when the test endows Jobe with psychokinesis, he uses his newfound powers to punish those who've wronged him in the past. And if anybody was at the top of Jobe's list, it was Jake. This guy regularly abused Jobe, physically and mentally. He also beat his son, Peter, who Jobe saw as his only friend.

Rather than killing Jake outright, Jobe uses his psychic abilities to turn him into a vegetable, with the sound of a lawnmower running through his mind for the rest of his life.

This punishment is perfectly fitting, since Jobe carried it out by using the very thing Jake mocked him for: his brain. In a delicious twist of irony, Jobe is now the smartest person in existence, while Jake is the one saddled with a lesser mind.
