10 Horror Movies Audiences Walked Out On

A sequel to a 2016 slasher flick, Terrifier 2 takes the killer clown horror motif to gruesome new heights.

Art the Clown returns from the dead to kick this 2022 release off, free once more to wreak his usual Hallowe'en mayhem. The film was praised for its depiction of final girl Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) and for its increased level of blood and guts.

This viscera was not to everyone's liking though.

The first Terrifier film was bad enough for some people. There's literally a scene where somebody's face gets eaten. That's obviously going to cause upset.

Unfortunately for members of the squeamish community, Terrifier 2 is a whole lot worse. This can be seen in the response to the movie, which has been all kinds of disgusting.

There have been several reports of people throwing up whilst watching the film. Allegedly an ambulance had to be called to one theatre. And, of course, there were walkouts. Although it's hard to say how many of these people were just running to the bathroom to puke.

With as much bodily fluid at its screenings as in its content, Terrifier 2 has achieved its goal of being, well, terrifying.
