10 Horror Movies That Missed Out The Money Shot

2. A Flamethrower-Wielding Chrome-Masked Ghostface - Scream

Scream 5 Ghostface Flamethrower

To take one more trip to Woodsboro, this year's Scream left jaws agape when one of its trailers showed a chrome-masked Ghostface going berserk with a flamethrower.

At that point, audiences had zero idea how this was going to play into the plot of this fifth Scream picture, but the shot sure as hell grabbed the attention. Was Scream going to move away from the regular butcher knife kills and turn things up to 11 with an uber-extreme Ghostface this time around? No, no it wasn't.

While the moment did technically appear in Scream, this particular money shot wasn't actually a part of the antics of the latest set of Ghostface killers who were terrorising Woodsboro. Instead, this bonkers version of the franchise's masked maniac was merely a Ghostface from Stab 8 - as brilliantly, briefly spotlighted by a cameo from Dead Meat's James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca, as the two rip into this latest entry in the Stab series.

As a fun Easter egg, the person voicing the Stab 8 Ghostface as he proclaims, "That sh*t is lit"? Why, that's Matthew Lillard, as in Stu Macher of the original Scream.
