10 Horror Movies That Only Make Sense At The End
7. Exam
2009's low-budget horror-thriller Exam revolves around eight individuals locked in a room together as they take a final exam for a high-flying corporate job. The rub? The exam paper doesn't actually have a question on it, and time is a-ticking.
Director Stuart Hazeldine does a stellar job of mining the oddball scenario for maximum suspense and confusion, leaving the audience just as in-the-dark as the exam's candidates.
It's eventually revealed at the end that the exam's one question was simply the "Any questions?" asked at the start of the exam - a fact figured out by only one of the candidates, Blonde (Nathalie Cox).
Upon answering "No," Blonde wins the job, as this demonstrates her attention to detail and ability to avoid being fooled easily compared to her rivals.
Combined with the compassion she shows throughout the exam, she proves herself thoroughly capable of doing the job.
As for what the job is? It involves being an administrator for a pharmaceutical company that's recently discovered a new wonder drug capable of stimulating cellular regrowth - a role that naturally requires all the abilities Blonde has just be shown to possess.
