2. Werewolves Within
Werewolves Within is yet another horror movie that pulled a fast one over on audiences by hiding the werewolf behind the unassuming veil of a totes adorbs character.
In this case we're talking about the delightfully peppy, sarcastic mail carrier Cecily Moore (Milana Vayntrub), who serves as a love interest for forest ranger Finn Wheeler (Sam Richardson) as he attempts to deduce the werewolf tearing its way through a sleepy Vermont town.
But in the third reel, Cecily reveals that she was in the fact the werewolf all along, conspiring to make the paranoid citizens kill one another, in turn serving herself some easy meals.
It's a shocking and honestly pretty sad revelation for not only Finn but the audience, both of whom quickly grew to trust Cecily and her infectiously chirpy vibe, only to find out the whole thing was a damn act.
We all wanted a happily ever after for Cecily and Finn, but alas, it wasn't to be. Instead Finn and another resident, Jeanine (Catherine Curtin), had to take her out.
