10 Horror Movies That Will Put You Off Travelling After Watching

9. Hostel: Part III

Here in the horror corner of WhatCulture, Eli Roth's Hostel and Hostel: Part II often find themselves getting coverage, but how about, just for a change, Hostel: Part III gets some time in the sun?

Released in 2011, this third Hostel offering isn't anywhere near as good as its two predecessors - as reflected by the film going straight-to-video - but it does have the unique 'selling point' of ruining one of the most popular, wished for vacation destinations going.

Whilst the first two Hostel offerings were largely set in Slovakia, this threequel effort took the twisted antics of the Elite Hunting Group to Las Vegas.

There, our would-be protagonists are part of a bachelor party hitting Vegas to celebrate. Of course, the "would-be protagonists" part is that while, yes, these partygoers are the victims of the Elite Hunting Group this time out, they're also mostly asshats at the same time.

To some, a Vegas trip is the stuff of dreams, with the bright lights, flowing booze, vibrant atmosphere and sheer scope and spectacle of the place making it the go-to vacation location of choice. If you've checked out Hostel: Part III, though, the heady excesses of Vegas suddenly don't seem that appealing.
