10 Horror Movies Where An Actor Plays Multiple Characters
6. Mark Soper - Blood Rage
It's time to talk about twins again, but these two are far less nuanced than the Mantles in Dead Ringers.
You can likely tell from the title that this is the kind of gore-infested slasher flick that will give you a good time if you're looking for some schlock-filled 80s horror. It's a wild experience that manages to be shocking and pretty funny, all at the same time.
What's it about, you ask? Well, the film follows the twins' Terry and Todd Simmons - both played by Mark Soper. Terry decapitated a teenager when they were boys and framed Todd, who was sent to a psychiatric hospital. Now, ten years later, it's Thanksgiving time, and Terry's murderous impulses are brewing again, which is only made worse by the fact that Todd has escaped the hospital.
The movie is full of goofy mishaps akin to a Shakespeare play (albeit with less class), as the pair are confused for one another and misunderstandings ensue. But, the distinction between the twins does make it evident to the audience who is who. To be fair, one is a murderer, and the other only wants to clear his name, so it's not too hard to follow.
