7. Cheech Marin - From Dusk Till Dawn
The secret is well and truly out on From Dusk Till Dawn, as the movie's hidden vampire twist is common knowledge now. But, one little secret gem that a few people didn't clock onto was the recurring face of a certain beloved stoner.
Cheech Marin is a frequent collaborator with Robert Rodriquez, having appeared in Desperado/Once Upon A Time In Mexico, the Spy Kids movies, Machette and Planet Terror. Still, Rodriquez really got his money's worth in this action horror flick, as Cheech played not one, not two, but three roles. Damn!
He appears early in the film as a border crossing guard and as the gangster Carlos in the film's final scenes. While these roles were decent, it was his bombastic turn as the Titty Twister's doorman - Chet Pussy - that really made an impact. The highlight of this was his wild speech about all the kinds of *ahem* lady parts they've got on the inside.
This trio of roles is a hilarious blink and you'll miss it type, as his smaller parts are so much more reserved than Chet that you'd be forgiven not for spotting them in the first place.
