Tobe Hooper's The Funhouse kicks off with a quartet of teenagers visiting a freak show at the local funfair. When they see the freak's barker, Conrad, commit murder, the group try to escape, only to learn all the exits have been sealed. To cover his tracks, Conrad and his deformed son, Gunther, vow to kill them all.

Now, when the final girl emerges victorious in any movie, viewers should feel a great sense of relief. But when Amy Harper becomes the sole survivor of the carnival bloodbath, all you can think of is, "How?" No, seriously, she didn't do anything!

Because Buzz is the one who kills Conrad, he should be the hero. But before he has a chance to bask in his glory, he's slaughtered by Gunther. Even though Liz also meets her end at Gunther's hands, she puts up a fight, since she stabs him in the back before she bites the dust. All Amy does is scream and... scream some more.
