When looking across the 11 Halloween movies to date, one of the true highlights of the franchise is the final few seconds of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers.

There, having spent the entire picture stalked by her Uncle Michael, young Jamie Lloyd shockingly stabs her foster mother with a pair of scissors, before a shrieking Dr. Loomis howls in horror at the visage of a bloodstained Jamie proudly showing off her handiwork.

This was a massive surprise and a hugely shocking way to conclude Halloween 4, with audiences led to believe that Jamie was following in the murderous path of the Shape. While that caught the characters of The Return of Michael Myers off-guard, this shocker ultimately fizzled out to nothing.

Following Halloween 4, there were tentative plans in place to have Jamie either work alongside her infamous uncle or outright take over from him. Thankfully, neither of those plans came to fruition, although that meant the impactful final shot of The Return of Michael Myers was all a tad confusing by the time Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers largely chose to ignore Jamie's brutal assault and instead turned her into a mute.
