10 Horror Short Villains Who Deserve Their Own Movies

1. Alma

First off, we reiterate our previous claim that dolls are the worst. Secondly, this marks another entry for this list wherein the villain is more of an entity than a tangible monster of any kind, but then again aren't those the scariest of all? After all, the monster in the closet is only scary because you don't know what it looks like. Also, as if you needed any more proof that Pixar turn everything they touch to gold (we don't talk about Cars) they only went and showed that they can even do horror!

Alma is already such a beautifully, tightly structured - not to mention unsettling - little film but there's a lot that could be expanded on. Yes, yes, brevity is the source of all wit or whatever Ol' Billy Shakespeare said, but whatever the hell it is that creates the dolls in Alma really deserves the big screen treatment. There's just so much mystery surrounding this entity: what is it exactly? Where did it come from? And, most pressing of all, why on earth and in the name of all holy hell does it choose to turn children into creepy little doll versions of themselves? What do you gain from that, dude?!

Come on Pixar, just do what we all want you to do and make a horror film you dry cowards!
