10 Horror Victims Who Got EXACTLY What They Deserved

7. Mrs. Deagle - Gremlins

Day Of The Dead
Warner Bros.

Okay, let's look at the true villain of Gremlins.

Not the titular critters. Not Stripe. We're talking about Mrs. Deagle. The first thing this old bat does is barge into the bank while screaming at our hero, Billy Peltzer. Deagle yells at Billy in front of his clients and employees, since his dog broke her Christmas decoration. When she threatens to have the mutt put down while smiling ear-to-ear, you cannot wait to see this miserable crone get her comeuppance.

Although it's horrifying to see the gremlins terrorise and murder the townsfolk, viewers are on their side when they turn their attention to Mrs. Deagle.

After hearing carollers outside, Deagle rushes out the front door, ready to chuck a jug of water on them. When she sees the singers are actually gremlins, she's horrified by their demonic appearance.

While Deagle is distracted, one of the little devils breaks into her home and tweaks her stairs chairlift, and when she tries to use it to head upstairs, the chairlift shoots around the house at lightning speed, catapulting her through the highest window. It's a horrible way for an old woman to go, but it just might be the most satisfying moment in the whole movie.
