10 Horror Video Game Movies EVERYONE Wants To See

7. Dino Crisis

Dead Space Movie
Capcom

When Dino Crisis was released in 1999, it was basically marketed as "Resident Evil with dinosaurs" - a killer hook which the game absolutely delivered on.

And given the enduring popularity of dinosaurs on the big screen, it's honestly surprising that Capcom hasn't made moves to develop a Dino Crisis movie, especially with the storming success of their various Resident Evil films.

Considering that the Jurassic Park franchise continues to print money regardless of quality, audiences are clearly absolutely insatiable for dinosaurs, and the appeal of taking that formula in the direction of an R-rated survival horror movie speaks for itself.

Granted it wouldn't be cheap, and the R rating would probably make many studios nervous, as well as the fact that the last Dino Crisis game, Dino Crisis 3, was released all the way back in 2003.

Here's what Capcom needs to do - finally announced a new Dino Crisis game, whether a remake of the original or a new sequel, to reignite mainstream interest in the IP, and then get the damn movie going.
