10 Huge Actors You Didn't Know Were In Music Videos

4. Alicia Silverstone - Cryin' By Aerosmith

More from Aerosmith on this list, and if Jaded isn't necessarily one of the first tracks you'd think of when the band comes to mind, chances are Cryin' is. It is one of the group's megahits, with the song's popularity matched perfectly by that of the video.

Telling something of a coming of age story, the narrative follows a naive girl who seems to think the world revolves around her feelings for one man, before going on a journey through being hurt by him and ultimately realising she was better off without him.

For this, Aerosmith won Video of the Year at the 1994 Video Music Awards, largely thanks to its star of the show, Alicia Silverstone. This was before her rise to fame thanks to the likes of Clueless and Batman and Robin later in the 90s, alongside other pre-fame actors, Stephen Dorff and Josh Holloway.

This was the first, but certainly not the last time Alicia Silverstone would appear in an Aerosmith video. By the end of 1994, she had subsequently gone on to appear in both the videos for Crazy and Amazing.
