It’s been said that 95% of Thor: Love and Thunder will take place in outer space, which is unsurprising given the amount of different stories Taika Waititi seems to be tackling. However, that does leave at least a little to be set on Earth.

This will likely revolve around Jane Foster, however there could be room for one more character from Jason Aaron’s comic book run. Roz Solomon was an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and had a very close working relationship with Thor for a time.

Roz had no hesitation in tackling Dario Agger and Malekith head on, and was such a force to be reckoned with, even as a rookie agent, that she was one of the first names on Thor’s list of potential women who had taken the Thor mantle from him. SHIELD’s role may have seemingly played its part in the MCU already, but that doesn’t mean that there is no potential for Roz to come into things.

Her background could be tweaked, she could be a former SHIELD agent working in some other capacity, or her backstory could even be altered to make her a SWORD agent, appearing in the 95% of the film set off-planet rather than on Earth. Either way, she is a character that deserves to be seen on the big screen and thanks to her comics history, the Thor franchise just makes the most sense.
