10 Huge Problems You Consciously Ignore Because The Film Is So Good

2. Interstellar - The Ending

Interstellar is a very good movie. Maybe not an all time classic - there are just one too many flaws with it for that, and you get the impression it won't be held in such high esteem in a couple of decades. That said it was hugely popular, beautifully shot and at least attempted to create a blockbuster that would challenge audiences. The CGI really is something else, using conceptions of space travel from 2001, Star Wars, Gravity, combining them and turning them into something wholly original. Despite this, it's difficult to ignore the stupid ending. The film has sort of backed itself into a corner and the only resolution available turned out to be corny and suspiciously contradictory to the laws of physics. Most people would agree the film's ending had good intentions but just fell short. However, that hasn't prevented people enjoying the movie. It ranks at number 44 on IMDb and is already one of the highest-grossing films of the decade. Not bad going!

Adam Thompson hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
